Get Dirty! Either literally or not.

Each year, literally hundreds of people keep over 60,000 square feet of gardens and outdoor spaces thriving by volunteering with Grow Portland. Do you want to help school gardens take off and thrive? Join us for Grow Portland work parties, happening regularly at all 14 of our partner schools. We'll be mulching pathways, rebuilding raised beds, installing irrigation and so much more. Sign up on our Work Party Volunteer Interest Form to get all the info: bit.ly/gpworkparties

Or, if your talents include more strategy than dirt, yet you share a passion for our work, consider joining the team as a member of our Board of Directors. Commitment is approx. 2-4 hours monthly (meetings every other month with some committee work in between). We are always on the lookout for diverse skills and experience to offer perspectives and direction to what we do and how we do it. Email our Executive Director, Michelle, at mwelton@growportland.org.

I thought the vegetables were going to taste like nothing, but when I tried them they were really good! The program gave me tips about how I could make my own garden on my own.
